Wanilla Community - A pictorial history
The Church & Hall
Sport was a major part of the Wanilla community. A netball team was formed and is still operating in the Port lincoln association under the name of "Wanilla Rangers".
The young boys of Wanilla played football for the country club Marble Range and many of the parents helped with coaching and other roles in this football club. Some also played in the Great Flinders Football League.
A cricket team was formed, for the summer months, along with a tennis team.
